Heartburn is caused by gas and acids in the belly that will move to the oesophagus...
It is also known as gatsri oesophageal reflux when pregnant some of the hormones cause your sphincters to rekax hence causinf food to go up and causing heart burn A childs hair has nothing whatsoever to do with u having heart burn or not heart burn may actually get worse when u are in the thurd trimester the baby takes up much space and stomach contents can move up hence it is recommended not to lie down soon after eating and also its recommended to eat small frequent meals

It has nothing to do with hair mommy's,that's just an old wives' tale. Heartburn results from the compression of the stomach onto the oesophagus. As well as pushes gastric acid that seeps back into the oesophagus as the baby grows caused by hormones released by the placenta.
